Narrative:
She has certainly changed over the years but wow! What a woman! The title draws reference to one of Wonder Woman’s earlier comic book catchphrases and is depicted within this piece through the dramatic details in the background and that surround her sword and shield. I wanted to achieve a contrast between the raw power and strength with her sense of calm and natural beauty. As with my Superman piece there is a meeting of her iconic blue and red from her outfit that creates purple, there’s something in that for sure. The overriding message here is that you are stronger than you think, more powerful than you realise.
